Law Offices of Shawn B Hamp Attorneys Earn DUI Field Sobriety Tests Certification at NCDD training in Chicago.

CHICAGO, Illinois - The attorneys at the Law Offices of Shawn B Hamp were awarded advanced Field Sobriety Test certification training by the National College of DUI Defense.

The training program was conducted on October 10th -12th in Chicago IL.

All of the partners and attorneys at the Hamp Law office participated in an intense three-day hands-on course that teaches students the same curriculum as law enforcement for identifying impaired drivers and conducting DUI investigations.

The instructor was nationally renowned Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST) Expert Anthony Palacios.

Mr. Palacios is a former Impaired Driving Staff Instructor for the Georgia Police Academy and has trained over 4,000 police officers, prosecutors, judges, and defense attorneys in the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) training curriculum.

Attorneys that attend the NHTSA training have a distinct advantage in the courtroom because they receive the same training as police officers are given in conducting DUI investigations. This specialized knowledge can more accurately identify issues and mistakes that occur in DUI stops.

Attorneys Shawn Hamp, Virginia Crews, L. Matthew Springer, and Troy Anderson attended and completed the advanced three-day training. Each was awarded certification for the NHTSA FST course by the National College For DUI Defense.
