Yavapai County Superior Court
The Yavapai County Superior Court is located at 120 South Cortez Street in Prescott, AZ 86303. The Camp Verde location is located at 2840 N. Commonwealth Dr. Camp Verde, AZ 86322. The Yavapai County Superior Court is a court of general jurisdiction which handles all civil and criminal matters, including felony offenses committed in Yavapai County. Criminal cases are usually prosecuted by the Yavapai County Attorney's Office.
Prescott Consolidated Justice/City Court
The Prescott Consolidated Court is located inside the Yavapai County Superior Courthouse at 120 South Cortez Street, Room 103 Prescott, AZ 86303. The Consolidated Court is a court of limited jurisdiction which handles civil traffic, orders of protection, and misdemeanor cases. The court does not handle felony cases.
Misdemeanor cases (DUI, Domestic Violence, Petty Theft) are limited to infractions or violations that occur within the Prescott city limits and the unicorporated areas surrounding Prescott. Criminal cases are prosecuted by the Prescott City attorney in the Municipal Court, and the Yavapai County Attorney in the Justice Court.
Seligman Justice Court
The Seligman Justice Court is located at 54150 Floyd Street in Seligman, AZ 86337. The justice court is a court of limited jurisdiction and presides over civil traffic, orders of protection, and misdemeanor cases. The Court does not handle felony cases.
The Court presides over all misdemeanor cases (DUI, Domestic Violence, Petty Theft) that occur within the justice court jurisdiction. The towns of Seligman and Ash Fork, Arizona are within the Seligman Justice Court jurisdiction. Criminal cases are prosecuted by the Yavapai County Attorney's office.
Verde Valley Justice Center
The Verde Valley Precinct covers the incorporated communities of Camp Verde, Clarkdale, Cottonwood, Jerome and the western half of Sedona. The Justice Center is located at 10 South 6th Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326. The jurisdiction also includes the unincorporated communities of Cornville, Lake Montezuma, McGuireville, Page Springs, Rim Rock, Verde Villages, and the Village of Oak Creek.
The Verde Valley Justice Court is a court of limited jurisdiction and handles civil traffic, orders of protection, and misdemeanor cases. The Court does not handle felony cases. Cases are prosecuted by the Yavapai County Attorney's office.
Bagdad/Yarnell Justice Court
The Bagdad/Yarnell Justice Court is located at 22591 Looka Way in Yarnell Arizona. The justice court is a court of limited jurisdiction and presides over civil traffic, orders of protection, and misdemeanor cases. The Court does not handle felony cases.
The Court presides over all misdemeanor cases (DUI, Domestic Violence, Petty Theft) that occur within the justice court jurisdiction. The towns and unincorporated areas of Bagdad, Hillside, Yava, Yarnell, Congress, Rincon, Walnut Grove, Kirkland, Wilhoit, and Peeples Valley are within the Justice Court jurisdiction. Criminal cases are prosecuted by the Yavapai County Attorney's office.
Mayer Justice Court
The Mayer Justice Court is located at 12840 Central Avenue, Mayer, Arizona. The justice court is a court of limited jurisdiction and presides over civil traffic, orders of protection, and misdemeanor cases. The Court does not handle felony cases.
The Court presides over all misdemeanor cases (DUI, Domestic Violence, Petty Theft) that occur within the justice court jurisdiction. The towns and unincorporated areas of Bumble Bee, Cleator, Black Canyon City, Crown King, Humboldt, Dewey, and Mayer are within the Justice Court jurisdiction. Criminal cases are prosecuted by the Yavapai County Attorney's office.
