There are several police and law enforcement agencies in Mohave County.  The law enforcement agencies in Mohave County are responsible for investigating and arresting individuals for criminal offenses that occur in Mohave County.  These agencies usually have concurrent legal jurisdiction and can work in coordinated efforts (Mohave County Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team, M.A.G.N.E.T., Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission, G.I.I.T.E.M.)but are often limited by political boundaries as to geographic areas in which they enforce criminal investigations.

Mohave County has a variety of political boundaries and divisions.  Mohave County has a variety of State owned land, Federal Parks and Recreation Areas, Native American Reservations, and Local Municipalities.  Interstate 40 is the main transportation corridor running east to west with U.S. 93 running south to North connecting Phoenix to Las Vegas.  Each of these political boundaries offers a unique challenge to enforcing the laws applicable to these districts.
