Mohave County Jail Visitation Guideline

For individuals that are awaiting trial and unable to post a bond or defendants serving a term of incarceration as a term of probation, the Mohave County Jail becomes their temporary home.  Being locked up in the county jail can be a very isolating experience.  Fortunately family and friends of defendants have the opportunity to visit their loved ones who are locked up. These visits can bring welcome comfort to a situation that is usually filled with great despair.

The Mohave County Jail is located in Kingman, Arizona.  The Mohave County Jail is located behind the county administration building at 501 W. The jail is open to the public 24 hours a day.  It processes new inmates any time of day and those individuals can post bond and bail anytime as well to be released while awaiting trial.  The visitation hours are limited however from Wednesday through Sunday (9:00 am to 11:00 am and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm).  After your visitation is signed up, you will then be directed to a room with several video camera/display setups to permit you to visit via video conference.  The visits last twenty minutes and all visitations are recorded.
