Bagdad Justice Court
The Bagdad Justice Court is the local court that handles many of the smaller civil affairs in the area, as well as most of the criminal cases. Located at 100 Main Street near the high school baseball fields, the Bagdad Justice Court has the ability to hear the following types of cases:
- Small claims and other civil lawsuits for under $10,000;
- Landlord and tenant disputes;
- Traffic offenses;
- Restraining orders and other cases dealing with domestic violence; and
- Local criminal cases, including those for driving under the influence (DUI).

Parking
There is a large parking area surrounding the Bagdad Justice Court that has proven to be more than adequate for the court's daily needs. In the off-chance that the court is exceptionally busy on the day that you need to make an appearance, you can find additional parking around the high school ballfields that are near the court.
